Setting up your Traffic Wave autoresponder

Autoresponder SetUp - FREE - Right Here - Right Now!

Teaching you step by step - How to Set Up Your Autoresponders For TrafficWave.

STEP 1. - Setting up your autoresponders in TrafficWave is a rather simple process. Much simpler than many autoresponder systems out there. In addition, you'll locate easy instructions for setting up autoresponders, in your member area. Be sure to read the autoresponder training articles because they are invaluable for creating great messages. The very first step is very simple. Log in, click on 'Autoresponder', click on 'Create New Series' and enter a name for your autoresponder you are going to create. After you have submitted the name for your autoresponder, click submit, and there you will see the email address for your autoresponder. Write down your autoresponder email address. Be sure to click the 'confirm' button to confirm that it is correct.

STEP 2. - After clicking the 'confirm' button, you'll see your autoresponder info. You'll see your autoresponder subscription email address, your return email name, your return email address, the title of your autoresponder for your autoresponder capture page. Each autoresponder you create, you'll most likely have some different profile imformation. You can change the title for example. Each autoresponder you set up, you may have a different title for. An example : Free Info, Free Report, Best Biz Info, Our Team, My Ezine', etc. Write down the title under the subscription email address you wrote down. Writing it down, may come in handy when you are in a hurry and don't want to take time to log into your TrafficWave member area. You'll also notice you can even share the letters you create for the autoresponder with other TrafficWave members....this can be helpful if you are working with your team and want them to be able to use your letters for their autoresponder...most the time, you'll probably not be checking that box. After you have your profile set up the way you want it for your newly created autoresponder, just click the 'submit profile changes'.

STEP 3. - In this next step, it's time to create your letters for insertion into your autoresponder. These are going to be the letters people will receive when they subscribe to your autoresponder. You'll notice three buttons at the top of this same page you are working with, that says 'admin', 'letters', 'subscribers'. To the upper right of that you'll see a black box that says 'select an existing autoresponder'....all the autoresponders you create will be listed in the drop down menu within that black box. Before you begin to create your letters, you want to make sure your autoresponder name that you wanting to create letters for, is showing....if it is not showing, click the drop down arrow and select the autoresponder you are wanting to create letters for. Now that you have the correct autoresponder selected, click the button that says 'letters'. If you have not set up letters yet, you will see the following 'This Series does not contain any letters yet.'. So now that is what we are going to do in this step is create our letters.

Creating your letters is actually the time consuming part. Creating the autoresponder is rather fast and easy. I suggest, just opening a word doc on your computer and typing up the letters first. After you have the letters typed up, you can insert them into your autoresponder. Some people like to just create the letters as they go. Whichever you choose, you'll need to get them into your autoresponder. You will see it list 4 pointers for you for getting your letters in there. Below that, you will see a small graph with the words in the color red ---click to add letter---. Click on the red words.

You will now see the box for your subject line and the box for your letter to go into. This is your first letter in the series of messages for your autoresponder. After you have entered a subject line and letter message, you can click the submit button to save it. Now you have your first letter saved within your autoresponder and you will be back at the page where you can click to add a second letter. Before you click to add the second letter, you'll want to enter the day delay time for the first message...enter 0 in the delay box and it will go out immediately on the first day the person subscribes. At any time should you want to edit the letters, you can click on the subject line listed for the letter to edit.

STEP 4. - After you have completed setting up your letters for the autoresponder, click the third button near the top 'Subscribers'. Notice on this page, you have several options. You can see all your subscribers for that autoresponder. You can see all the stats, subscribers that have finished receiving your series of messages, subscribers you have removed, and so on...all those options appear in the drop down box. You can even search for a particular subscriber by entering the subscribers email address.

Notice back near the top you will see 'Stats Manager | Add Subscribers | Delete Subscriber | Quicksend | Broadcast.' The Stats Manager is what you are now presently viewing. Simply stated, that displays all the stats for your autoresponders. Click the 'Add Subscribers'. After clicking the 'Add Subscribers' you'll see a gray shaded area that explaines how to simply add the name and email address of leads you want to add. The process of adding subscribers/leads is rather simple. Now click the button under the shaded box that says 'Click Here To Continue'.

Many autoresponder systems have very complicate lead import set up. As you can see TrafficWave is very simple. You can see that you can enter just one name and email address for easily adding one. And you can see the box below it in which you can import up to 1,000 leads at a time. To import leads, all you need is their name and their email address OR just their email address. The example in the box shows you exactly how the info should be entered as on each line. Basically if you have leads, all you need is their name and email address or just their email address, copy, paste into the box, and make sure each entry is listed to its own line, then click submit and the leads will be imported. That is all there is to entering leads.

The next button you see near the top is the 'Delete Subscriber' button, click it. Very simple to delete a subscriber. Just enter the subscribers email address you are wanting to delete, and submit.

Now click the next button near the top 'Quick Send' and you will see that you can quickly send any letter you want to someone. Why would you want to use this feature? A number of reasons why you might choose this feature. Perhaps a subscriber sends you an email and says they accidently deleted your second message. No problem, you say, I will send it to you again. You go in here, enter their email address, choose the letter they deleted, click send...and tada...they have received the letter. This is an excellent feature that also saves you time. I will tell you MOST autoresponder systems do not have this feature.....TrafficWave does!

Click the last upper button 'Broadcast'. If you don't have any subscribers yet, you are not going to see any way to send a broadcast feature and it will tell you, 'you don't have any subscribers yet.' After you have subscribers, you will be able to use this feature to email your subscribers on the fly.

STEP 5. - Take notice on the left menu colum under the 'Autoresponder', you'll see the 'overview home', 'create new series', 'delete series', 'retrieve series'. Where have we been during these steps? We've been in the 'create new series'. So every time you want to create a new autoresponder, you'll click the 'create new series'. Notice the 'delete series', you can delete an autoresponder any time you want. Take note of the 'overview home'...that takes you simply back to start to give you an overview of the autoresponder set up process. Clicking on the 'retrieve series' will display some options so that you can overwrite an autoresponder or retrieve messages from another member...several options here.
